Technical Grade Urea

Commercial Urea refers to a chemical that is prepared commercially in large amounts from liquid ammonia and liquid carbon dioxide. These are combined under high pressures and elevated temperatures to form ammonium carbamate, which then decomposes at much lower pressures to yield urea and water. These are used in the manufacture of many chemicals such as various urea-formaldehyde resins, plastics, and adhesives. Commercial Urea is also essential for making glue, feedstock, fertilizer, commercial products, and resin production.
